What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician *PART-TIME position at Round Rock Vision?
***THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION***
We are an independent practice looking for the right individual to join our team.
The optometric technician is key for keeping patient flow efficient, assisting the optometrist by conducting pre-screenings and testing prior to the Doctor’s examination. This position does not require experience.

Job duties include:
- Ensuring high quality patient care.
- Maintaining a professional atmosphere and appearance of doctor’s office and pretest room.
- Explain to the patient the types of preliminary examinations.
- Performing and recording patient preliminary testing.
Schedule
2-3 Week days PLUS Saturdays. Must be available for a full shift.
SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED - Employee will have 1 Saturday off per month.
Office Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:30-6:30
Saturday 9:30-5:30
