About the Role:
Round Rock ISD is hiring a full-time Lead Custodian for Deerpark Middle School. This role coordinates campus cleaning and safety efforts to maintain a great learning environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily custodial operations at Deerpark Middle School.
- Ensure all areas of the school, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas, are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
- Supervise and train custodial staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the Custodial Services Department to ensure adequate stock.
- Perform routine inspections of school facilities to identify and address any custodial issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with school administration to support special events and activities requiring custodial services.
Entry Qualifications:
- Completion of sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a custodian or in a closely related field.
