Senior Planner | Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Placentia, CA
Salary: $100,000–$140,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Are you an experienced Production Planner with a strong understanding of MRP and manufacturing operations?
Have you worked within aerospace or another complex manufacturing environment?
Are you confident managing shortages, production schedules and material requirements?
I’m recruiting a Senior Planner for an established aerospace manufacturer in Placentia, CA.
This is a senior-level position where you’ll take ownership of an assigned product line, coordinate material and production requirements, develop shipment plans and resolve critical shortages and delivery challenges.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop weekly and monthly shipment schedules
• Analyse MRP requirements and material availability
• Identify and expedite shortages through production
• Coordinate with Operations and Procurement
• Manage material allocation against delivery requirements
• Support schedule and revenue recovery plans
• Lead complex planning projects
• Provide guidance to other planners
What they’re looking for:
• 5 years of planning experience, ideally within aerospace manufacturing
• Strong MRP and production planning knowledge
• Understanding of procurement and outside processing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Avante ERP and/or LN Aerospace experience is a plus
• APICS training is highly desirable
