We are supporting a confidential aerospace, defense and space manufacturer seeking a CNC Programmer to lead the team as a CAM programming subject matter expert.

As the CNC Programmer your responsibilities will include
- Offline CAM programming using a range of industry-leading programming software for precision engineering applications
- Ensuring right first time programming for highly complex precision machined aerospace, space and defense components
- Support NPI activities with OEM customers whilst also developing CAM software for any engineering modifications across the shop floor
- Supporting turning, milling, and mill turn machining operations
- Collaborating with machinists and manufacturing engineers to optimise machining processes
- Driving continuous improvements to programming efficiency, quality, and productivity
As the CNC Programmer you will bring
- Degree qualified in engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Previous offline CAM programming experience using any CAM software
- Experience programming complex precision machined components
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
- Outgoing, friendly attitude that will work well in a highly employee-focused environment
