The Round Hill Club Seeks a Line Cook
Round Hill Club (RHC), a private country club located in Greenwich, Connecticut, is seeking a full-time line cook. The RHC is a full service Club with an à la carte restaurant and banquet facilities capable of serving up to 350 guests. The Club also has a seasonal pool snack bar.
During the summer season, lunch is served six days a week and dinner is served five nights. From mid-October to mid-April the Clubhouse is closed Monday and Tuesday, offering lunch and dinner five times a week.
The Club prides itself on serving a modern American menu with seasonal offerings from scratch and produced completely on premises and prepared à la minute. The Club is looking for dedicated culinarian with strong references and solid culinary knowledge to work the restaurant line. Experience in high volume and fine dining is preferred. The successful candidate should be be neat, organized and clean, and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. The line cook will work directly under the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to produce exceptionally tasting and attractively presented cuisine.
There is also the opportunity to be involved extensively with private parties and special events. The Club hosts a wide range of themed events and provides authentic culinary experiences for them.
