What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Truck/ Equipment Mechanic position at Round Bottom Recycling LLC?
Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturday
Overview:
Family run business looking for a diesel mechanic to maintain a fleet of heavy trucks, trailers and equipment. Five years experience in heavy truck/equipment repair required.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and vehicles
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts and recommend necessary repairs
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines
-CDL is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
