Pediatric Dental Assistant – Tribeca (Part-Time / Full-Time)
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our busy pediatric dental practice in Tribeca. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients and creating a welcoming, kid-friendly environment
Escorting patients to the operatory
Assisting with procedures (4-handed dentistry)
Preparing rooms for scheduled and spontaneous procedures
Breaking down and cleaning rooms efficiently
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining equipment
Taking x-rays on children (required)
Managing scheduling and handling a multi-line phone system
Assisting with administrative or clinical tasks during downtime
Qualifications:
Fluent and clear in English
Comfortable working with children (must be patient and friendly)
Computer literate (Dentrix and Progeny preferred)
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Positive attitude and team player
Schedule:
Monday: 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM
Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:15 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM – 6:15 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM
One Saturday per month: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable based on experience. A paid three-week probationary period will be required. Following this period, compensation may be adjusted based on performance.
