To join our Team, you will need to have experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering environment along with demonstrable experience working with CNC modules and machines.
You will be required to setup and run multiple machines simultaneously whilst ensuring quality and output are maintained to the required level.
CNC milling/turning programming experience using Haas, Fanuc or Mazatrol controls would be an advantage.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- To program and set a variety of Milling and/or Turning machines, working to drawings and specifications
- Self-inspect components and report any manufacturing errors to line manager so corrective action can be agreed
- Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule
- Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.
- Looking at decreasing run times and decreased down times through good set ups and enablement coupled with personal motivation.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

You will be self-motivated with a desire to set high standards of work performance for yourself and possess the drive to learn and develop. You will have a positive attitude, good timekeeping and a willingness to be flexible for business requirements including overtime and weekend working.
