We’re looking for motivated and dependable Expo/Food Runners to join our team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Position Summary
As an Expo/Food Runner, you play a critical role in ensuring food is prepared, presented, and delivered accurately and efficiently. You’ll work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all food items are prepared and sent out according to company standards for quality, consistency, and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked expo area
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
- Execute accurate plate presentation and garnishing
- Deliver food to the correct tables quickly and professionally
- Check in with guests while running food to ensure they have everything they need
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
- Assist team members during peak hours and support operations during slower periods
- Help open and close the expo area following established procedures and checklists
- Attend team meetings and contribute to a positive team environment
- Follow all company policies and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
