AS A LANDSCAPE CREW LEADER
You will create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You will oversee and support a crew, making sure they are transported to the different job sites and clocked in upon arrival.
CREW LEADER DUTIES INCLUDE
- Practicing horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching.
- Overseeing and directing assigned landscape maintenance crew.
- Directing crew on site and leading them through tasks and projects.
- Ensuring all relevant equipment is loaded and ready for each job.
- Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and any broken or missing equipment is fixed or replaced.
- Troubleshooting problems as they arise.
- Keeping project on schedule and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in landscape or similar industry.
- Knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers. etc.)
- Strong customer relations, solid work ethics and excellent people and leadership skills are a must.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
- $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
