Data Entry Specialist – Bid Estimates

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to input, update, and maintain bid estimate information in our database. This role involves entering both historical and current bid data accurately, ensuring records are complete, consistent, and easily accessible for reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input bid estimates—both old and new—into the company’s database or project management system.
• Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before entry.
• Organize and categorize estimates based on project type, client, date, or other relevant criteria.
• Retrieve and cross-check information from past records, spreadsheets, and other sources as needed.
• Maintain data integrity by performing regular audits and updates.
• Assist in generating basic reports or summaries from entered data when requested.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and administrative staff to clarify or confirm bid details.
• Protect confidential information and follow company data management policies.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in data entry software, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and database systems.
• Ability to work efficiently with large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and verifying information.
• Previous experience with construction, estimating, or project management data preferred but not required.

Compensation/Benefits

• $36,000.00 annually
