Field Service Technician
Kent, Ohio | High Travel Role | Rotoline USA
Rotoline USA, a leader in rotational molding equipment with over 25 years in the industry, is looking for a Service Technician to join our U.S. service and support team.
This is a field-based, high-travel role ideal for someone with a mechanical/electrical background and strong communication skills. You’ll lead equipment installations, support startups, and deliver excellent service across North America and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to install, start up, and service rotational molding equipment
- Coordinate equipment arrival, layout, and oversee installation (customer provides crew)
- Manage and guide customer personnel during setup (you’re a supervisor, not the installer)
- Conduct hands-on training for customer teams on equipment use and safety
- Collaborate with engineers on control systems and operational software during startups
- Provide remote and on-site technical support
- Complete service reports and follow-ups at the shop when not traveling
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical components (PLCs, sensors, etc.)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable leading a crew and taking initiative on-site
- Willingness to travel frequently (domestic & international)
- No degree required — we provide full training

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
