Location: Littleton, NH
Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm M-TH
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Overview: The maintenance mechanic will fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance goals are met.
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance on welding robots, CNC machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Contact suppliers to order parts or troubleshoot.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Produce various electronic reports.
- Aid in the training of employees.
- Perform any other related duties as requested by your manager.
- Obtain and maintain certification for Hazardous Waste Coordination
- Participate and complete all required safety training.
- Willing to perform emergency calls during off-shift to ensure production continuity.
- Willing to cross-train as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of mechanical background or related experience
- Previous experience working in manufacturing preferred.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, numerate, and able to multitask.
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Knowledge of hydraulics, welding/fabrication, machining, paint, and assembly preferred.
- Able to travel to Canada for training purposes.
Education
- Technical degree in a related field or several years of comparable shop experience deemed valid by the employer
