Roto-Rooter of North East Alabama is hiring Drain Cleaning Technicians who take pride in solving problems and helping customers when their plumbing or sewer system fails.

What You'll Do
- Clear clogged drain and sewer lines using mechanical and power equipment
- Perform basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, urinals)
- Diagnose plumbing and septic system issues
- Maintain tools, machines, and assigned work vehicle
- Present clear, upfront pricing and explain work to customers
- Use drain cameras and powered equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
- Keep equipment and vehicle clean and organized
What We're Looking For
Required
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and professional
- Ability to follow safety and company procedures
- Personal hand tools (major equipment provided)
Preferred
- 2 years in plumbing, drain cleaning, or related trade
- Alabama Plumber's Apprentice License
- Experience with drain cameras and powered machines
- Ability to read basic blueprints and perform light electrical work
Pay & Benefits
- Uncapped commission (technicians average $1,800 per week)
- Guaranteed base pay of $600 for 40 hours
