What You'll Do

As the Plumbing Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the plumbing department while helping technicians succeed and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and develop residential plumbing technicians

• Conduct ride-alongs, field coaching, and performance evaluations

• Monitor technician productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction

• Review department performance metrics and implement operational improvements

• Work closely with dispatch, customer service, and company leadership to maximize scheduling efficiency

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and technician development

• Manage departmental budgets, inventory, purchasing, fleet coordination, and vendor relationships

• Oversee warranty claims and operational processes

• Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining strong customer relationships

• Ensure safety standards, company procedures, and quality expectations are consistently met

• Drive revenue growth while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced leader who understands both residential plumbing operations and how to develop high-performing teams.

Qualified candidates should have:

• 5 years of plumbing industry experience

• Previous leadership experience managing plumbing technicians or service teams

• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing service operations

• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Experience improving department performance and customer satisfaction

• Ability to analyze KPIs, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability

• Comfortable using scheduling software, reporting tools, tablets, and other business technology

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
