Job Overview
Base salary: $50,000, plus bonus opportunities for meeting sales targets.
Roto-Rooter Savannah/Hilton Head Full-time role supporting residential and commercial plumbing projects across Savannah and Hilton Head.
Position Overview
- Full-time role, minimum 40 hours/week
- Mostly Monday–Friday; some overtime or flexible hours as needed
- Field-based work across our service area
- $50,000 base salary sales bonuses
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavation equipment: mini‑excavators, backhoes, skid steers
- Dig trenches/access points for sewer, water, and plumbing projects
- Identify utilities, set grades, prep job sites
- Work safely around underground utilities
- Support plumbing crews during repairs/installs
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Backfill, clean up, and restore job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers and team
- Assist with physical labor and help identify additional service needs
Qualifications
- 5 years excavation experience
- Skilled with mini‑excavators, backhoes, skid steers
- Strong safety and utility‑identification knowledge
- Plumbing or underground utility experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and insurable record
- Able to work outdoors and perform physical labor
- Dependable, safety‑focused, and team‑oriented
