Roto-Rooter is seeking a results-driven Service Manager to lead our plumbing and drain service team. This role is focused on driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies, strong customer relationships, and hands-on team leadership. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Oversee daily service department operations to ensure quality workmanship, timely job completion, and strong customer satisfaction

Maintain consistency in service delivery and uphold company standards
Sales & Revenue Growth

Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and achieve sales targets

Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and overall performance
Team Development

Recruit, train, and mentor service technicians

Conduct training sessions and ongoing coaching to strengthen technical and sales skills

Support a culture of accountability, growth, and performance
Customer Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

Follow up to ensure satisfaction and resolve any service concerns promptly
Field Support & Oversight

Stay engaged in the field to support technicians, ensure technical quality, and improve operational efficiency

Provide real-time guidance and leadership as needed
Performance & Compliance

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report results to leadership

Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with industry regulations
Inventory & Supply Management

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of necessary parts and materials
Multi-Branch Support

Support operations across Canton and Medina branches within a 30-mile radius

3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role, ideally within the plumbing, HVAC, or a related home services industry

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or technical certifications are a plus

Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable

Strong sales acumen with a track record of driving revenue and meeting performance targets

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills

Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment

Working knowledge of plumbing or drain systems and service operations

Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or field service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan or similar platforms)
