Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in delivering exceptional service in plumbing and drain cleaning. As a Service Technician, you will be the frontline problem solver, applying your mechanical expertise to diagnose and repair plumbing systems including water and drain supply, water heaters, garbage disposals, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, etc. This is a commission based position with after hours/on-call schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on plumbing and drain systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Support field service operations by traveling to customer sites for on-site repairs, diagnostics, and installation of new fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with VT Plumbing Code.
- Curate friendly and professional tech-client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within plumbing and drain cleaning field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and VT Plumbing Code.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate technical solutions to clients or team members.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Availability to work a rotating nights and weekends on-call schedule.
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license with no prior violations within the last 5 years.

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
