We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team. This role is responsible for safely operating a variety of machines, with a focus on stamping presses and hobbing as well as other equipment used in our production process.
Essential functions:
- Accountable for daily production and quality control parts manufactured on the hobbing, forming or lockbar stamping press and simple die changes.
- Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Perform quality checks on hobbed parts and make necessary adjustments.
- Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Able to maintain required efficiency rates.
- Able to set up forming and lock bar stamping tools.
- General housekeeping of work area.
- Observe all safety requirements.
- Employee must show up to work on time and be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to operate forklift and pallet jack.

Required skills & Competencies:
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and related documentation.
- Solid understanding of production equipment or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new machinery.
- Strong analytical abilities and effective problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA and environmental regulations, with the ability to comply with all requirements.
Minimum Required Education:
- High Schol Diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience:
- At least one year of related experience required.
- Valid Driver's Licence required.
Work environment: Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production processes.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to traverse production facility and climb ladders.
- Manual dexterity for assembly and machine operation.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is between $19-19.50/hour. The actual range will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
