What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Construction Superintendent position at Rothrock Construction?
Rothrock Construction is a Design & Build firm located in Jupiter, FL. We are looking to hire an experienced Superintendent who has a background working in custom homes. Our preferred candidate will have the drive & grit in the field while maintaining patience and protecting our clients' privacy.
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities at a construction site in accordance with project blueprints and schedules. Their duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.
- Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to the Project Manager as necessary. Daily logs are entered into BuilderTrend software.
- Create and submit weekly progress report to the Project Manager each Wednesday.
- Upkeep construction schedule changes daily.
- Time track jobsites via Buildertrend
- Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
- Maintain updated plans onsite.
- Check in with the Construction Manager regarding jobsite progress and questions.
- Maintain and safe and clean jobsite at all time.
Salary will be negotiable based on experience in custom home building. Must be available to work every other Saturday.
