Rothe is seeking a hands-on Linux Administrator with strong GitLab administration experience to operate, secure, and evolve enterprise platforms supporting NASA JSC’s mission-enabling applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, secure, and maintain Linux-based systems.
- Manage GitLab infrastructure including upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, runners, and integrations.
- Implement system hardening, patch management, access controls, and compliance baselines.
- Automate system tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for platform reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across NASA JSC operations.
- 5 years Linux systems administration experience.
- Experience managing GitLab in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with automation tools (Ansible/Terraform).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, pipelines, and runners.
- Experience with security hardening and compliance requirements.
- Must be able to attain and maintain a NASA Level of Confidence (LoC) of 50, which is based on identity proofing, background checks, and investigation. This is a condition of employment.

Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
