About the Position
The Architectural Staff role is a production-focused position responsible for supporting project teams through the development of architectural drawings, technical documentation, and coordination tasks. The right candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities, solid technical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Salary Range: $70k - $90k depending on experience and licensure.
This is a full-time hybrid role as Architectural Staff - Level II at Roth Sheppard Architects based in Denver.
To be considered for the role, candidates must have at least 5 years of postgraduate experience in architecture or a closely related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce architectural drawings and documentation across all phases, with an emphasis on floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Assist in the development of design and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal team members to support project delivery.
- Contribute to project organization, documentation standards, and quality control.
- Support permitting and construction administration tasks as required.
- Maintain awareness of project schedules, deadlines, and deliverable requirements.
- Participate in design meetings and reviews.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of dedicated architectural work experience.
- Proficiency in architectural drafting and production; strong competency with Revit (AutoCAD and other platforms a plus).
- Solid understanding of construction detailing, building systems, and architectural documentation standards.
- Working knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements.
- Professional experience in public safety, restaurant, or retail design is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with basic client and consultant communication.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting project needs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (preferred).
- Licensure preferred.
