What You’ll Do
As a Drain Service Technician, you’ll be more than the person who clears a drain. You’ll be a trusted expert who helps homeowners understand what’s happening in their homes and provides solutions they can feel confident about.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing residential drain cleaning, jetting, cabling, and related service work.
- Providing camera inspections for mainline stoppages within 24 hours of the reported issue.
- Diagnosing drain and sewer issues and clearly explaining your findings to customers.
- Building strong customer relationships while delivering a professional, 5-star experience.
- Educating customers about sewer repairs, replacements, maintenance, and preventative solutions.
- Helping customers understand their options and choose the solution that best fits their needs.
- Taking ownership of your work, performance, and revenue goals.
- Creating an experience that earns customer referrals and repeat business.
- Working alongside Customer Service and Dispatch to keep jobs running smoothly.
- Maintaining and protecting your service vehicle, tools, and equipment.
- Keeping your truck properly stocked and ready for the day.
- Participating in hands-on training, team meetings, and ongoing development.
- Learning from experienced technicians and helping mentor apprentices as you grow.
- Completing invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets accurately and on time.

You’ll bring:
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- At least 1 year of Drain Technician experience.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A professional attitude and positive mindset.
- The ability to work independently while being part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new technology, techniques, and best practices.
