Position Overview
Rotelle is seeking a Residential Land Acquisition Associate to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in real estate, land acquisition, or development. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced team members and receive hands-on training in identifying, evaluating, and securing residential building opportunities.
This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a desire to learn the land acquisition process from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities (Training Provided)
- Assist in researching potential residential land acquisition opportunities
- Communicate with landowners, real estate agents, and municipal contacts
- Support the evaluation of site feasibility, zoning, and development potential
- Assist with contract preparation and coordination of land purchases
- Help manage due diligence, approvals, and entitlement processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to support company and client goals
- Maintain organized records and reports related to acquisition activity
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- Genuine interest in real estate, land development, or construction
- Professional, confident, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of contacts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required with relevant interest or experience
