Summary

Processes requests for the intake and release of Pathology material for internal or external review/testing. Handles correspondence requests for the tracking/status of material requests via phone, mail, fax, and information system requests.

The starting annual salary for this position is $42,641 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Pathology Service Representative I :

Required Education And Experience

• Associate's degree in a Healthcare discipline; or
• Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology or customer service.
  
  

Pathology Service Representative II

Required Education and Experience

• Associate's degree in a Healthcare discipline; or
• Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
• High School Diploma or equivalency and two (2) years of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology or customer service.
  
  

Note

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
