Temporary, Non-Benefited Company : Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department : Nursing Professional Development, Practice and Research Time Type : Part time Weekly Hours : 3.75 FTE : 0.0938 Shift : First Shift (United States of America) Summary : Performs fundamental nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse; develops confidence and competence in clinical skills to facilitate transition into the role of the registered nurse after graduation; works within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients; serves as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care while adhering to all policies and procedures of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The hourly rate for the Nursing Student Intern is $18.15 / hr - $23.45 / hr. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Qualifications : Required Education and Experience
Certification
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education and Experience
Matriculation with at least one (1) year in an approved Nursing degree program and completion of two (2) semesters of clinical experience.
NOTE :
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
