Summary: The Hait Lab is hiring a full-time Laboratory Technician within the Departments of Surgical Oncology and Molecular and Cellular Biology. Performs a variety of laboratory duties in a scientific research laboratory focused on mammalian cell signaling and epigenetic gene regulation using ex vivo and in vivo modeling. Performs in vitro cell culture and molecular biology experiments, 3D cell culture, Western Blot, ELISA, qPCR, enzyme assay, IHCs, and FACS, etc., organizing and analyzing laboratory research efforts, and participating in assigned phases of scientific research projects. Maintains appropriate documentation related to procedures in accordance with established IACUC, IBC, BDR, and laboratory policies. Additionally, working with mice (tumor implantation/excision, drug treatment, health monitoring, euthanasia) will be required. This individual will also be responsible for conducting grant-funded research projects.

The candidate should also have experience with molecular biology, tissue culture, Western Blot, ELISA, qPCR, enzyme assay, FACS, etc., be familiar with organizing and analyzing laboratory research efforts, and participate in assigned phases of scientific research projects.
