Summary
Practice Overview:
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park) is seeking a full-time Body Imager with particular interest in oncologic imaging, clinical service, teaching, and education for its Diagnostic Radiology Department. Roswell Park is a Public Benefit Corporation formed by New York State in 1999 that operates a $1 billion nationally ranked NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located in Buffalo, NY.
The Diagnostic Radiology Department is comprised of 14 diagnostic body imagers and 30 clinical radiology faculty who provide multidisciplinary care to our patients in one of only 2 NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in New York State. Academic faculty appointments are provided through an affiliation with University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes 3 MRI units, 4 CT scanners (one of which is dual energy), and a 3D imaging lab. A satellite imaging facility includes another MRI scanner and CT scanner. A second satellite imaging center is planned which will include an additional 2 MRI scanners and a CT scanner. Due to this expansion, we are recruiting additional radiologists.

License and Certification Requirement
Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Diagnostic Imaging or the specialties of Body Imaging, Diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, or Angio/Interventional Radiology.
Note
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

Clinical Responsibilities For Position Will Include
- Provide high quality interpretation of body CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and plain radiographs at main campus and satellite facilities.
- Provide comprehensive care via multidisciplinary tumor conferences and opportunities for resident teaching.
- Call- average of 5 weeks per year (overnight reads are provided by teleradiology). Home workstation is provided.
- Board certified or eligible body radiologist, body fellowship or other radiology fellowship trained, and oncologic imaging experience.

- License to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
- Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Diagnostic Imaging or the specialties of Body Imaging, Diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology or Angio/Interventional Radiology.
