Summary:
Performs standardized pulmonary function testing to evaluate lung volumes, airflow, and gas exchange. Ensures accurate test administration, equipment calibration, patient instruction, and quality control in accordance with clinical guidelines to support diagnosis and management of respiratory disorders.The starting hourly rate for this position is $36.46 which includes a geographical differential.
Qualifications:
Required Education and ExperienceLicense Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree with graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have their BLS/ACLS certification and at least 3 years of PFT and critical care experience.
