Counter Person — Rosto
Rosto is looking for a friendly, reliable Counter Person to join our team. You’ll welcome guests, take orders accurately, process payments, and help keep the counter area clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest warmly and provide excellent service
- Take in-person and phone orders accurately
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments
- Answer questions about the menu and accommodate requests when possible
- Package and verify takeout and delivery orders
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean counter and dining area
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure prompt, accurate service
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
- Restaurant, cashier, or customer-service experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Evening and weekend availability is a plus
