Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Auditor to join our team and contribute to high-quality client service across diverse industries, including Construction, CIRA, Employee Benefit Plans, Not-for-Profit, Manufacturing, and Real Estate. This role involves assisting with audits, reviews, and compilations, preparing financial statements, and supporting senior staff in meeting client deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in multiple industries (Construction, CIRA, EBP).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements; evaluate internal controls.
- Support planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up phases of engagements.
- Coordinate audit requests and help meet time constraints and client deadlines.
- Communicate work status and client issues to Supervisors and Partners.
- Contribute to strong client relationships through professional interactions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2 years of public accounting experience with external audits.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday (Fridays off during busy season).
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license or active CPA candidate (not required).
- Familiarity with ProSystem Fx Engagement, CCH suite, PPC audit guidance, QuickBooks.
- Experience auditing Construction, CIRA, and Employee Benefit Plans.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000–$90,000 (commensurate with experience).
