What are the responsibilities and job description for the COTA position at Rossville Grade School?
Job responsibilities will vary but generally include: *Occupational Therapy services for Kaw Valley School District. *Supervision of paraeducators, as assigned. *Complete observations, provide direct and indirect services, participate in Child Find activities. *Evaluations, eligibility reports, write treatment programs, IEP goals, progress reports, re-assess students as needed. *Attend student staffing meetings, participate in IEP meetings. *Ability to work an 8 hour duty day in the location or locations assigned by the Special Education Director. *Maintains files and/or records to ensure compliance with state, federal, and administrative regulations. *Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, work in a supportive small community environment. *Performs other related work as required.
Qualifications: Holds or is eligible for certification by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. Maintains professionalism with families, staff, and students.
