Rossi Vucinovich, a respected Seattle personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys, supporting clients, and contributing to a collaborative and friendly office environment.
The ideal candidate is well-organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic litigation practice. The desire to provide excellent client service, the ability to remain composed under deadline-based pressure and effectively prioritizing competing responsibilities are each key to success in this role. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
- Review court rules across multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance with filing and formatting requirements
- Draft, proofread, format, and edit pleadings, correspondence, and client documents
- E-file documents in federal and multi-state court jurisdictions
- Coordinate client appointments, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial appearances
- Prepare attorneys for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
- Manage case file closing procedures and data-destruction protocols
- Utilize document management and file-transfer systems as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of litigation experience required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff
- Professional and compassionate client communication skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro (including redaction and document conversion)
- Experience with Filevine or similar case management software is a plus
- Familiarity with large-file transfer platforms is helpful
- Personal injury and/or medical malpractice experience is preferred but not required
Compensation
Salary Range,
$55,000–$85,000 annually
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
