- Process endorsements, audit, policies, cancellations, reporting forms and invoicing according to R&Y procedures manual within acceptable time frame and with accuracy
- Issue new and renewal certificates of insurance and EPI’s
- Prepare and secure premium finance agreements and surplus lines non-admitted forms, as well as mod master
- Obtain P&C license after six months on the job
- Create/prepare proposals and presentations from direction of Client Managers
- Prepare various reports, exhibits and spreadsheets, including premium and loss recap, schedules of insurances, etc
- Input new client data and assist in applications for renewal process
- Maintain good documentation through use of good scanning procedures, telephone logs, notes, etc
- Handle team’s client discrepancies in a timely fashion
- Collect underwriting information such as loss runs, MVR’s, driver’s list, and experience mod worksheets
- Sort and distribute mail daily for team
- Maintain and monitor daily suspense to follow up on items requested of clients and carriers
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-time work experience, or at least a two year college degree
- Basic computer/data entry skills (agency management, word processing, spreadsheets)
- Good interpersonal skills and customer focus
- The ability to do detailed work effectively and efficiently
- The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
