Ross Memorial Health & Rehab Center is looking for Per Diem Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our team!
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for organizing and providing speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the resident's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for their residents, document and record the residents condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.
- Facilitate the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to reduce or remediate disorders of deficits.
- Identify the need for and make a referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
Requirements :
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehab
- Current Georgia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
