What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (PRN) position at Ross Memorial Health Center?
Ross Memorial Health Care Center is currently seeking Per diem Physical Therapists to join our team.
Essential Duties:
- Evaluate the patient's condition, develop a treatment plan and help them get better and self-sufficient.
- Instruct the nursing staff and the patient's families on follow-through programs that build on the progress they've made.
- Document patient care under Rehab Care, regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Instruct the patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to the supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
- Competently performs effective treatment techniques.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Handle job responsibilities under the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehab
- Must have Physical Therapy license valid to practice in Georgia
Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
