About the Role:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Traffic department. This role is ideal for an attorney who is organized, and comfortable handling traffic related matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently represent clients both in and out of court.
What You'll Do:
- Review traffic tickets and related legal documents
- Conduct phone consultations regarding traffic matters, deadlines, procedures, defenses, and available options.
- Research legal issues and provide accurate guidance
- Manage court dates, case deadlines, and internal deadlines
- Attend court appearances for traffic-related matters
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and team members
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- General knowledge of Texas Criminal Law and Traffic Law
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
