What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Commercial Cleaner- Floater position at Ross Maintenance?
As a floater (40 hours per week), you are responsible for cleaning at any location where our regular cleaner/custodian/janitor is on vacation or has called off. You will also be tasked with special work orders which may include dropping off supplies, deep cleaning, training new cleaners, perform inspections or non-routine tasks like stripping/waxing floors and carpet extracting.
A successful commercial cleaner/janitor will be responsible, flexible, adaptable, detailed oriented, and can work independently. Previous experience as a lead cleaner is a plus.
Qualifications
Report to Ross Maintenance Headquarters at 4:30 pm Mon-Fri
A drivers license is required for this job. (There is a driving radius of 45 miles from headquarters. Company transit van used during shift and returned nightly)
Commercial cleaning experience: 2 years
High school or equivalent
Background check and pre-employment drug test
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
