What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA/QC Inspector position at Ross Engineering?
ROSS USA is currently identifying an experienced QA/QC Inspector who is mechanically or electrically biased to join a high-profile Data Centre project in Phoenix, Arizona.
We are ideally looking for someone with General Contractor experience in the Data Center sector, but are open to candidates with proven QA/QC experience on similar mission-critical projects.
At ROSS, we operate at the highest levels of the construction industry, leveraging 30 years of engineering expertise to deliver state-of-the-art facilities for Blue Chip clients. Our project portfolio is defined by technical complexity and high-stakes execution, spanning Semiconductor fabrication, Hyperscale Data Centers, Life Sciences and Battery Manufacturing.
Data centres are one of the fastest-growing construction sectors in the USA — and Phoenix is one of the hottest markets in the country. This is a genuinely high-profile project with a client that takes quality seriously at every level. You won’t be the person who rubber-stamps inspection reports. You’ll be the person who sets the standard.

- Facilitate QC meetings and manage quality issues and non‑conformances
- Track, report, and analyse quality KPIs and metrics
- Support turnover, final inspections, and handover to operations
- Collaborate with construction, commissioning, and engineering teams
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices
QA/QC Inspector - What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years in construction QA/QC with a strong mechanical or electrical bias
- Ideally proven data centre project experience (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise)
- General contractor side experience strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of ITP development, NCR management, and commissioning interfaces
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud; familiar with ISO 9001 frameworks
- Degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or equivalent trade background
- Confident communicator who can hold the line with subs while building trust with owners
