The virtual instructor works out of the Freeland, MI campus working with students from several campuses/states.

Requirements:
- 2 years or more of recent truck driving experience
- Valid State of Michigan CDL A - no restrictions Driver’s License
- Must have or be able to get a State of Michigan Driver’s Education Certificate in Truck Driving Training
- Instructors must have a current CDL DOT Medical Wallet Card
- Must have sufficient computers skills to set up, operate and teach with computer equipment and systems provided
- Experience with video conferencing preferred
- Ability to manage a virtual classroom including planning, focus, engaging with students, and interacting using clear communication to keep the interest of students
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather, with extended periods of time standing and sitting
- Must be able to get in and out of Semi-Tractor/Trailers and perform all driving related duties
- Must have patience, flexibility and a willingness to learn
JOB IS IN PERSON - IN A CLASSROOM, AND MAY OCCASSIONALLY REQUIRE TEACHING ON THE LOT AND ON THE ROAD
