Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Manage retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays as needed to ensure product availability.
• Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features to encourage sales.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain proper cash drawer handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and offering product knowledge.
• Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels.
• Assist with merchandising tasks to keep the store organized, clean, and inviting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred.
• Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for growth opportunities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of retail store products and merchandising techniques.
• Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with stock management, product demos, upselling strategies, and retail transactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
