- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently to maintain high-quality turf and landscape areas.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Use hand tools and ground maintenance equipment for tasks like aeration, soil preparation, and hardscape installation.
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support proper care and pest management strategies.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or construction is required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management enhances your ability to deliver exceptional grounds care.
- Experience operating grounds maintenance or landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, or irrigation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments ensures adherence to best practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with a positive attitude is essential.
- Need at least two professional lawncare company references.
