TAX MANAGER CPA
Ross & Champion, CPA’s, located in Georgetown, Texas, is seeking a full-time tax manager to join its team. The firm is experiencing explosive growth and is seeking an exceptional accounting professional to join us and work together with our staff, owners, and clients to facilitate ongoing, successful internal and external relationships.
Reporting to the owners, this positionwill assist in managing client relationships and be responsible for client project delivery through the planning, execution, direction, and completion of tax projects including tax planning and tax return preparation to our clients in a wide variety of industries. Additionally, our ideal candidate understands the actions needed to be client focused from start to finish; collaborate with the internal team of professionals; and follow our ethics requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in tax planning and tax return preparation, specifically:
· Bachelor’s degree (masters in tax or accounting preferred) in accounting with at least 10 years of compliance experience in all areas of federal tax preparation; franchise and state sales tax preparation; compile and reconcile monthly QuickBooks data.
· CPA license REQUIRED
· Strong interpersonal communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with Lacerte tax preparation software is desired
· Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
