Key Essential Functions/Duties
- Assist Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Manager with training, and mentoring maintenance technicians.
- Responsible for training employees on equipment, related to assigned area.
- Make daily shift reports to include BUM on daily maintenance issues during shift.
- Prioritize work based on Planner/Schedule, including projects.
- Follow escalation process to include a root cause and counter measures.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with leaders to prioritize repairs and maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and structural issues with machinery, tools, and building systems.
- Perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and address any potential hazards. Maintain knowledge of relevant safety codes.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
