Are you passionate about Italian cuisine and eager to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen? Our beloved, family-owned Italian restaurant Rosie's Trattoria—serving the community for over 20 years—is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our tight-knit team.
At the heart of our kitchen is Chef Giuseppe, who brings over 30 years of head chef experience and a deep love for traditional Italian cooking. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to learn directly from him while also being encouraged to bring your own creativity and personality to the plate.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of line and/or prep cook experience (more is always welcome!)
- Solid understanding of kitchen basics: food prep, station setup, cooking techniques, and sanitation
- Ability to follow recipes accurately, while also being open to experimenting with new ideas
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen with a sense of urgency and teamwork
- Willingness to take direction, but also eager to contribute creatively
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing ingredients and cooking dishes to spec with consistency and care
- Managing a station during service (sauté, grill, pasta, etc.)
- Following all health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area
- Assisting with prep work before service and during slower shifts
- Supporting other team members as needed in a respectful and cooperative way
