We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker/Vehicle Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and vehicles essential to successful construction projects. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks to perform excavation, grading, loading, and hauling tasks preferred.
- Operate forklifts, tow tractors and telehandlers for material handling
- Perform vehicle and heavy machinery mechanical maintenance desired.
- Assist in various construction operations.
- Support construction activities by performing site preparation, material movement, and cleanup tasks.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during equipment operation and construction activities to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines effectively.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks a plus.
- Ability to competently operate a forklift and telehandler
- Strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with general construction practices.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery operation and mechanical maintenance is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- The ability to manage to your time effectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
Housing and additional services available. Work hours consist of ten, 10 hour days.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
