Role: Technical Writer responsible for creating, developing, formatting, and managing technical documentation, including manuals, testing procedures, and operational specifications for hardware and software products.
Responsibilities: Develop structured content for end-user guides, online help, and quick reference materials in multiple languages; manage translation processes; collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information; ensure documentation quality through usability testing and feedback; update legacy documents and prepare final deliverables for print and online media.
Qualifications & Skills: BA/BS in Technical Communication, Science, or related field with extensive experience or equivalent in technical publication; proficiency in DITA/XML, content management, and translation systems; skilled in desktop publishing, illustration, and disassembly/reassembly of instruments; knowledge of design tools like Adobe Illustrator and SolidWorks is a plus.
Key Attributes: Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects independently, and collaborate effectively across global teams to produce accurate, user-friendly documentation.
