Part Time - Cashier

Role Overview

The Cashier is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate checkout services, ensuring a positive customer experience. This includes handling transactions with various payment methods, adhering to legal requirements for alcohol sales, balancing cash drawers, processing refunds, and maintaining a clean checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a welcoming and organized checkout process for every customer
• Accurately process transactions and settle shift reports
• Assist with stocking, merchandise rotation, and labeling
• Respond to customer complaints and train new cashiers
• Support light maintenance and cleaning tasks
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic math and communication skills
• Ability to operate POS systems proficiently
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak times
• Relevant cashier experience is preferred
