Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Role Overview: This position focuses on ensuring product quality by identifying issues, developing containment strategies, and implementing effective countermeasures in ferrous manufacturing. It involves analyzing reports, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to align quality goals.
• Review and analyze daily reports to identify gaps and develop solutions.
• Utilize data analysis and PDCA methods to resolve complex problems.
• Monitor processes to optimize quality performance and reduce costs.
• Train and mentor team members to build technical capabilities.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance quality systems.
• Manage scrap trends and achieve quality and scrap reduction targets.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0-6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software applications.
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and team orientation.
• Self-motivated with leadership qualities and the ability to set directions.
