Diesel Mechanic Technician - 4 Day Work Week

Job Summary: This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units to ensure safety and compliance. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues, conducting routine maintenance (oil changes, brake inspections, electrical repairs), documenting work through an online system, and performing road call services when needed. The technician must ensure vehicles meet licensing and registration requirements and perform repairs using various hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in medium/heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, A/C refrigeration, and brake systems.
  
  

Skills: Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, documentation, and using hand and power tools. Professional communication and adherence to safety standards are essential.
